PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

QED Associates PLLC - Owner/Manager of Veteran Owned Small Business (work subcontracted through TEC Industrial).  

Mesa Associates, Inc.  –  Kingsport Engineering Manager which included supervising one young Electrical Engineer, six EI&C senior designers, and one CADD operator.  

United States Army Corps of Engineers Engineer responsible for ensuring government funded projects in Iraq are constructed per the International Building Codes, British Electrical Standards, and the awarded scope of work.  

Tele-Optics Technology Services Group, Inc.Responsible for engineering work processes and standardization.  Engineer responsible for development of new electrical and instrumentation (E&I) application software. 
Met state testing requirements and acquired TTSG’s electrical contractor’s license.

Bechtel Corp. - Electrical Group Supervisor for seven electrical design personnel; Professional Engineer in charge of project technical adequacy and E&I lead for various projects.  Projects involved in ranged from $150 thousand to $20 million.

CDI Engineering Group, Inc. - Provided electrical & instrumentation design as required for project completion in accordance with Eastman Chemical Company standards and design guidance. Projects involved in ranged from $150 thousand to $5 million.

Harrison & Spencer, Inc. -  Empowered to ensure projects were  designed on time, met customer and all applicable code Project size varied from $.1M to $7M.

United States Air Force (Yokota AB, Japan) - Managed the Japanese Facility Improvement Program to obtain over $800 million of new construction from the Government of Japan (GOJ) in Japanese fiscal years 1990, 1991, 1992 and 1993 for the United States Air Force.  

United States Air Force (Moody AFB, GA) - Provided functional review of construction projects contracted to Architect‑Engineer firms and awarded for construction totaling $30 million.  Reviewed shop drawings and catalog product information for conformance to contract specifications.  Prepared change requests complete with statement of work, design calculations, and cost estimates.
